The Workshop will be organized with an introduction, a structured session with free thought remarks from all participants, a structured discussion and summing up with a closing remark.
The issues to be discussed are:
• Incremental vs disruptive design concepts, single turbine vs multirotor systems, propeller vs other ways of capturing wind
• Overall challenges to obtain cost competitiveness:
- Logistics inclusive construction, assembly, T&I
- Mooring and anchoring concepts
- Ballasting systems
- Dynamic cables
- Operation and Maintenance concepts
• Expected contracting and competition set up for floating wind, competition between concepts, or EPC competition on Developer chosen concepts
• Design concept implication on logistic and operation
